Help the Green Party stand a candidate in as many seats in England and Wales as possible.
You will have heard how the recent outrageous decision by broadcasters not to include the Green Party in the leaders' debates triggered a great outpouring of support and a huge surge in membership. That bold rise in support has helped to change the broadcasters' minds and compelled them to think again. Together we can bring change.

Currently the Green Party of England and Wales is standing in 75% of seats. The reason for this is down to financial constraints and the fact that some constituencies don’t have the Green support they require to stand – we of course expect this to change! In order to stand, the party must put down a £500 deposit for each candidate. The money raised through this crowdfunding campaign will go toward standing in many more seats around the country, maximising the potential for everyone in England and Wales to choose a Green Party candidate as their candidate for the General Election. If a local candidate receives over 5% of the vote, the Greens will be able to retain that deposit and put the money to great use by funding future campaigns.

For every £500 we raise, our team in Green Party Headquarters will seek out a local party that is not yet standing a General Election candidate due to lack of funds. Our committed team of campaigners are dedicated to ensuring that step by step, we are working towards a full slate of genuine and passionate candidates. Every single pound raised will make a real difference on the ground. Please give generously to support a democratic Britain, one which is supported by ordinary people.

**Please ensure you are on the UK electoral register - this is a requirement of donating to a political party. And you'll need to be on it to vote next year - register here if you're not.**
