Aim
Our aim is to provide a weekend of entertainment and nostalgia for the people of Glossop and for visitors to our lovely town.
We are a team representing Glossop's Round Table, local residents, traders and voluntary organisations who've come together to organise Glossop's Victorian and Heritage Weekend, celebrating 1850 to 1950. We want to offer the people of Glossop a weekend of entertainment including a procession, live music, dog show, food and drink, funfair, and craft stalls. Our aim is to create an event that Glossop can be proud of and that will bring the whole community together.
In order to do this, we need financial support to ensure we can provide appropriate entertainment, cover advertising costs and other items. A large-scale event such as this will only be successful if it's properly supported and funded.
