New stretch target
Will help us with our daily and training expenses until the Olympic Trials so that we can focus on training.
We, Rob Holderness and Tristan Slater, are aspiring to become Olympians, doing everything we can to fund ourselves through to the Rio Games.
However with the demanding nature of our sport (swimming) it is impossible to be in full time training and have a full time job.
We are both experienced athletes. Rob is a multi-finalist at the Commonwealth Games both in Delhi & Glasgow. Tristan won double gold at the English Short Course Nationals in December 2015 and was third at the World Championships Trials last year. However, we currently receive no financial backing from British Swimming.
The Olympic Trials are in April in Glasgow over 7 days of competition. We are looking to raise enough funds for travel, accommodation and racing expenses so we can have a shot at making the team!
Any contributions will be greatly appreciated.
In appreciation we are happy to give advice to aspiring athletes who want to further their career.
