Focus Organization is a group of dynamic London-based music promoters who have, for the last seven years, regularly organised or supported successful events at various iconic London venues like: Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre), Rich Mix, Passing Clouds, Union Chapel, Notting Hill Arts Club, Bedroom Bar and many more... We brought to you some of the best local and international live acts and Djs.
We grew quickly, earning the respect of the music lovers and the partnership of other organisations with which we supported (marketing or programming) events with international artists like: Amadou & Mariam, Baaba Maal, Bassekou Kouyate', Rokia Traore with special guest: Sir Paul McCartney at Africa Express.
Toumani Dabate’, Jimmy Cliff, One love Festival, Black Uhuru, Public Enemy, Manu Dibango, Kanda Bongo Man, Ray Lema and many others have also featured in one of these events.
Over the years, our hard work and commitment has earnt us lots of recognition in the industry: from BEFFTA Awards to Africa 4U Awards and others such us (EBR) Ebony Business Recognition Awards, Life Changers Awards etc…

At this time when there is very little funding for the Music, we thought we would create something great with you, music lovers, celebrating the city of London and its diversity. A festival for the whole family.
A spectacular and unforgettable night of music - bringing artists from different countries on the same stage, exchanging their roots, stories and messages to celebrate the diversity of London.
For all the gigs we've shared and the great support you have shown us over the years, join us now and own a piece of this festival; be our partner for an incredible night London has never seen before.
We need you to make this happen.

We need your support to make Focus Africa Music Festival 2017 happen. With pledges from you and others, we will be able to deliver an unforgettable music night in central London. You will be our partners and you will have a share in creating this festival.
The campaign will start 1st February to 15th March (6 weeks) to raise £6.000
With the minimum contribution of £25, you will have free entry to the festival + 1 Free CD from one of the artists performing on the night.
If you are new to Crowdfunding, here’s how it works:
If you pledge money to us, and if enough of you do the same within the time limit, we will reach our target of £6,000. Once we have reached our target your pledges will be debited from your account and the money sent to us. We then deliver Focus Africa Music Festival 2017.
If we don't reach our target of £6.000 at the end of this campaign, the money will not be debited from your account and Focus Africa Music Festival 2017 will not happen.

All the money raised will help us cover these expenses:
Artists booking fees and rider.
Marketing and press (flyers, posters and adverts)
Late licence application for the venue (local council)
Event staff: security, front of house staff, technical/AV staff
Focus staff
Volunteers
Perks fees
5% platform fee
3% transactions fees
