Help underprivileged children in Congo break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities.
We help underprivileged children break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities via scholarships and economic empowerment with our workshops.
Indeed, to enable the Congolese Young people to take themselves in charge, it is necessary to strengthen their capacity in various areas of the active life.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is known throughout the world for its culture and music, but also for its fashion. However, the art sector has not been sufficiently valued. No policy is currently in place to promote education for all.
There are certainly schools of fashion (Institut des Arts et Métiers, ISAM), music (Institut National des Arts, INA), art (Academie des Beaux Arts), but not accessible to all. To get there, you must have a state diploma.
Following the many crisis that has experienced the country, several children have not had the chance to go to school. This is the case of young people commonly called 'street children', who are automatically excluded from this mechanism.
ESIMBI would like to give everyone an opportunity for success by promoting the empowerment and socio-professional reintegration of marginalized and abandoned girls and boys. The organizations would also like to contribute to social cohesion and peace consolidation in the DRC. Many young people who lack occupation are easily manipulated to carry out acts of vandalism, especially during political demonstrations.
This fundraising is to enable us to continue the workshops and the recreational activities for the children in Kinshasa.
