Kick starting a PT team by providing systematic & ongoing support for the conference.
ELTFORUM started in 2010 in Bratislava. The first conference had 100 participants and in the past 5 years it has grown to become one of the top ELT events in central and eastern Europe. So far, more than 1500 teachers have taken part in the workshops and presentations with almost 200 speakers. Hundreds of new friendships have been created; and thousands of great ideas shared. Some of our speakers were David Crystal, Ken Wilson, Michael Swan, Penny Ur, Maggie Kubányová and many others.
Eltforum has grown and the amount of work during the pre-conference phase has more than doubled. It´s becoming very hard to cover all of it by just using a team of volunteers. We need your help.
We are doing our best to keep the conference growing and flourishing, but we now realise that we need a coordinating team to maintain relationships with the participants and to foster cooperation with speakers throughout year. It is crucial for future and healthy growth of ELTforum. Besides managing speakers, participants, exhibitors and last but not least - us / volunteers, we also need professional help such as updating and maintaining our website and registration systems.
We have managed to built up an international platform for students, teachers and other English language teaching professionals, but now we need your help to keep it growing on a solid basis.
We need more teachers that open our minds and inspire our children. Please help us to continue out valuable work.
We also want to keep the information and inspiration flowing after the conference, so the Forum is not just a "once a year" event. All of this requires energy and dedicated workers during the whole year.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
