Druid College is dedicated to earth-centred spirituality, to the integrity of our natural home and to the crafting of sacred relationship.

In short, The College devotes its presence—and it is its sole intent—to prepare priests of Nature.

Foundations for this life-long journey are established by a three-year, intensive study.  Unlike contemporary universities, Druid studies are furthered not only by personal reflection but primarily by ongoing personal connection and spiritual guidance of (i.e., apprenticeship to) a Druid Priest. Druid College UK is now in it's third year of running.

Being a priest of nature does not mean being an intermediary, but instead living a life in service, crafting a sacred relationship with the land, the ancestors and the gods.  It requires service to the community as well as the land, wherein the priest acts as guide, witness or celebrant to a journey or journeys of crafting sacred relationship.

The College accepts as first-year apprentices people of all walks and intent. The focus the first year is on the fundamentals of Druidry and reweaving our personal connection to Earth and to our ancestors and heritage. The College does not expect the beginning apprentice to fully know all of the shape of their spiritual path, but it does want the incoming apprentice to commit to the journey of discovery. This program will be of value to anyone walking a Nature-based path. Commitment to the full programme is not required in order to join in the first year of training. Tuition takes place over four weekends through the year, in Messing, Essex, near mainline London train stations and the A12, for ease of access.

Our second year training is reserved for those who desire to continue their journey into the priesthood, to step into the role of priests of Nature, to serve the land and its people.  Our programme is one of preparing people to be in service, for example working prison ministry, working with the dying, being a priest of the land, offering healing where there is desecration, herbal lore and wisdom; the paths are many and varied, and will be chosen by the apprentice in their third year.

While most programmes are for those wanting to take a journey in personal exploration, the full Druid College programme combines this for those who have journeyed and discovered they are ready to take up the mantle of service, to be a priest of Nature. Within service we find freedom, freedom of expression and sacred relationship.

We envision Druid College as a center of learning, sharing, and support for students and teachers of earth-based spiritual practices, promoting service within local communities that restores and helps maintain devotion to the land, human dignity, and the arts/skills of transformation, in alignment with principles of Druidry.

We are seeking people to help us create and sustain a scholarship programme, to enable those who wish to enroll but lack the funds to do so. At the moment we offer a discounted price for those on a low-income budget, but we only have a few places on the course where we are able to do this every year. With a scholarship programme, we would be able to extend this offer to many more people from all over the community who are seeking learning on their spiritual path.
