To create a program of therapy whereby using dogs and agility will help reduce the sensory chaos that individualls with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can experience.Dogs are non threatning, therefore they have the ability to open the door into the world of an individual with ASD.
Using conditioned specific structured stages I aim to teach individuals via DATA how to engage, interact and understand the social rules of what makes a succesful partnership.
I hope to teach individuals meaningful languae and communication skills that will assist them to realise the social joy of communication between themselves and the dog.
