On September 11th, I will be taking part in an organised Charity event where I will cycle from Clapham in London to Brighton Pier! A total of 54 miles! (What was/am I thinking?)
Thankfully I won't be doing this by myself! Husband Martin will be doing the ride too...... On a BMX! And he's not the only one! Joining the team will be fellow BMX riders who heard about CRYALEX and want to do the ride with us! :-)
In total, about 15 people are signed up to our team.
Myself and Martin will be raising money for AEDDONATE who are a registered charity that fully install public defibrillators. The money we raise will be going towards another defibrillator in the West Midlands.
Seriously, every penny really does make a difference! It will certainly make a difference when I'm trying to get up those enormous hills into Brighton. Yikes!

In memory of my amazing little big brother Alex who was fit and healthy but passed suddenly and unexpectedly of an undiagnosed heart condition in April last year.
