Project aims

The Creative Futures Fund was created by the Pound Arts Trust to fund its work with young people throughout Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.

We need to raise £1,000 by the end of June 2015 which will release match funding from Arts Council England. Please help us to reach even more young people by donating to this unique one off opportunity to make your donation go even further.

About the project

Last year we offered 16,000 opportunities for young people to take part in professional arts activity. We also work with groups such as young carers and those with profound learning or behavioural disabilities and throughout 2015 we are focusing on the very particular issues around autism.

We believe that by engaging young people with artistic experiences there is an inevitable social benefit, a growth in confidence and a sense of responsibility, developing not just a joy of artistic expression but also offering the potential for developing critical thinking skills.

£10 can help provide a child with art materials for a free workshop.

£25 could allow an autistic child an opportunity to enjoy a multi-sensory theatre performance tailored to their needs.

£50 can pay for a 10 week bursary allowing a child from a low income family to take part for a term in our weekly drama group.

The Creative Futures Fund at Pound Arts, funds this amazing work, please donate NOW and your donation will be match funded.

Many thanks
