We have made a cookbook to raise funds for ICT resources, play, music and educational equipment for our rural primary school.
We need to raise funds to buy much needed ICT resources, play, music and educational equipment for our rural primary school. Our school sits on the beautiful coastline of West Wales and has 85 pupils. We are rich in so many ways and blessed for what we have on our doorstep; our beaches, countryside and outstanding wildlife. However, our budget is small and isn't able to buy the rescouces and technology we desperately need. So that's where you come in. We didn't just want to ask for money, we felt it important to produce something special in exchange for your hard earned cash. We wanted the children to contribute, not only so they understand that you have to put effort in to get something back, but also so they can take ownership of something, see something they have produced in full colour print! The ones that wanted to have contributed a hand drawn picture of the food that features in the recipe they supplied with the help of their parents. We also had fabulous contributions from lots of our local clubs and committees which has resulted in a delightful mix of delicious recipes. In exchange for your pledge we are offering you a copy (or two!) of our colourful and child friendly cookbook. It has been professionally designed and printed and is filled with over 90 varied recipes and illustrations contributed by our students, parents and our wider community members.
