Chloe's mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer so she takes care of most of the household chores. Make her feel like a child again.
Chloe is your ordinary eight-year-old girl. Unfortunately, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last February. Ever since then, her life has changed. Breast cancer can be tough for the entire family, but despite that, Chloe does her best to help around where she can. She makes her own sandwiches, washes her own clothes and does all the ironing herself. And when her mother isn't feeling well, she does those things for her. She does a lot of things around the house, far more than an average eight-year-old should do.
"I'd love to have a bedroom make over. In a pretty ice - cream design!" - Chloe.
Chloe's mother wants her daughter to feel like a kid again. We want to give her the room makeover of her dreams - ice cream themed!
We would like to help make Chloe's mother’s wish come true and get Chloe her dream room.
We are a group of students from the University of Westminster in London. As part of our course, we were tasked with looking up social enterprises and helping them with a crowdfunding campaign. This is when we stumbled upon "Grant-A-Smile". They are the only enterprise in the UK helping families with chronic medical conditions.
In their own words, "A child’s life shouldn’t be all about their parent’s illness, pain and hospital visits. Lending a helping hand to sick parents will most definitely bring them hope and happiness.”
In association with Grant-A-Smile, we would like to fulfill Chloe's mother's wish and make her happy.
Should our goal be reached, all the excess money will be distributed to grant other children's wishes.
