Caravan for Calais: The Wilcumstowe Wagons

Walthamstow Refugees Welcome group is fundraising to be able to refurbish three caravans for those currently in the Calais Refugee Camp.
Walthamstow is in the Doomsday book as 'Wilcumstowe' - a place of welcome. Now in the spirit of our home, Walthamstow Refugees Welcome group is fundraising to be able to refurbish three caravans for those currently in the Calais Refugee Camp via the voluntary organisation 'side by side'. The money raised will go towards buying, painting and kitting out two caravans which this group will then take to the camp and the admin costs of the crowdfunder site. Any sums left over will be donated to the Refugee Kitchen. Find out more about Side by Side and their caravan project here:
