I can make sure that issues you care about, and that others won't raise, are talked about in this General Election.
The Green Party won't get a Chinese millionnaire developer offering £500 million for half of Crystal Palace Park, but your help raising £500 will help Bromley Green Party pay my deposit so I can talk about the threat to the park from the ZhongRong Group and Boris Johnson.
In every hustings, public meeting and media interview I will be able to pledge to save Crystal Palace Park and other green spaces from over-development, and push the other candidates to match this pledge.
The Green Party may be excluded from the TV debates, but with your help Bromley Green Party will be able to raise enough money to put a leaflet on every doorstep in my constituency.
This will let me talk about the rising house prices and rents, the high levels of traffic, and the expensive and unreliable train services, and your money will help us promote ideas the others won't mention, like rent controls and curbs on property speculation, and bringing the railways back into public ownership.
I've already been tackling these problems. Over the summer I measured unhealthy air pollution levels around Crystal Palace and Anerley, and have won the support of hundreds of shopkeepers and residents to get less polluting buses on our main roads.
I need your help to make sure the other politicians don't ignore these issues, or sit on the fence on important questions about the park's future.
Important legal bits
Donations will be paid into the Bromley Green Party fighting fund for the General Election, in order to support my candidacy.
Any donations in excess of £500 will need to be checked to ensure that your donation is permissible - under UK electoral law you will need to be on the electoral register or a company/charity/trade union/etc. registered in the UK.
