Help us take A Brief Timeline of Enemies and Friends to Edinburgh Fringe

Waveney Valley Productions offers a collective umbrella for East Anglian based artists. Our work promotes tolerance, diversity, and opportunities. We believe in offering entertainment and stories which are innovative, challenging and avoid dogma. We offer performances and workshops in theatres, schools, libraries and to the wider community. We have had work selected by High Tide, the Ink Festival, and have performed at the Arcola, and Soho Theatre, among other venues. Our company offers groundbreaking theatre, performed and devised by talented professionals, to please, amaze, and make you think.

Sarah a single parent, and her child Barney are caught in a time loop, destined to return to a small Suffolk village where a tragedy once occurred: Sarah was drowned as a witch in the village pond. Every few decades she is forced to return and try and make the villagers see the error of their ways. But Sarah doesn't fit in. The crisis comes to a peak as the village carnival draws close.
Our play has been adapted from an award winning short story (selected for the Dangerous Women Scheme), and has been developed through a series of local workshops with schools, theatres and libraries.

Whether it’s pound or a penny, any spare change given freely brings us a step closer to Edinburgh. In doing so you will be supporting a project which is absolutely unique: one which promotes optimism, and challenges intolerance and small-mindedness.

We don’t blame you for wanting to know where your money’s going, so we’ve made you a pie!
