Cricklewood Wanderers FC is a grass roots, community football club based in NW London, attached to a parent charity called Youth Engagement Solutions. We use the club to engage young people from across the city, and surrounding boroughs and counties.
The club provides free, organised football for over 200 young Londoners across 10 teams.
The club operates with a view to ensuring players have access to employment support, educational support, health and well-being services and have access to quality information, advice and guidance for any aspect of their lives. Our work supports several communities in NW London; not just players, but their families too.
Our appeal is for money to cover training facilities, to hold mental health and well-being workshops for young (school age) players, to employ new coaches on a part time basis and to ensure the club is financially stable whilst seeking further investment.
This money will really help to continue the club's development, the men's first team are currently on course for promotion to semi-professional football, and we have started a new girls' team with a view to expanding female involvement with the club. Two of our youth teams are enjoying a successful season and will look to move onto 11 aside matches next season- again very expensive as these teams are not fully funded by any external bodies.
Please do check out our website www.yes-ltd.org.uk to see the good work that we do, and how your money will certainly be put to good use!
