When you are pregnant, everyone seems to have advice. Once your baby is born, everyone seems to have an opinion. But once they have navigated the terrible two's and are looking to start school, the support network fades away. It can feel lonely and terrifying to be left in charge of a person's whole education. That's where we come in.
Your Child Your Choice aims to pick up where the baby and toddler books left off. Written by Jemma Zoe Smith - international private tutor and Director of The Education Hotel, with input from Headteachers, other parents, children's psychologists, and subject teachers, these books offer guidance in a non judgemental tone.
The first book in the Your Child Your Choice series will cover the primary years from ages 4-11 covering topics such as; times tables, school lunches, phonics, homework, screentime and friendships. The next few books in the series will cover; transitioning to secondary schools, GCSE's, sixth form, homeschooling and schooling when you suspect that your child has an special educational need.
In a society that judges parents whatever choices they seem to make, this book aims to inform you of the choices, without pushing you in any direction. Your child Your Choice offers suggestions from parents who have been there, Headteachers who have seen it and families who have lived it. Our key motto is that every child is different and so their education should be Your Choice.
