The business is the only one of its kind in the UK and has just had written confirmation from the ministry of Justice that my business model can be run without a licence. As confirmed by the MOJ this is the first of its kind and the first to be rolled out commercially hence we were featured and recommended in the Financial Times, Independent and Yorkshire Post Consumer Watchdog pages. In short i help consumers who have suffered financially due to credit rating problems, something that I personally experienced 3 years ago and in which I could find no help out there at the time hence I took up the mantle myself and won two cases against two companies and most recently against a high street bank.
The market is absolutely massive and to be honest its too big to put a figure on in terms of potential turnover. The error rates on Experian records alone are as much as 70%. Importantly with the PPI market dead this is the next PPI.
I unfortunately on my own do not have the marketing budget to get the word out to the Consumers that they should be scrutinizing their credit reports for errors. There has been a land mark high court case regarding the defamation of a persons credit file in the last 7 months in which the consumer was awarded over 10k AND a feature by BBC one\\\'s watchdog service which exposes the errors on Credit reports.
My business has no direct overheads the only costs are small claims and my time. I have absorbed all the start up costs and have a business model that is ready for the right person with the right team behind them . Crucially I also have a fantastic reputation with some of biggest newspapers in the country which is financially worth a lot of money in itself plus I have a loyal Twitter following of over 3500. This will give you the all important trust with potential customers whereby no hard sell is needed as the reputation sells it. I am also looking to rolll out another arm of the business that helps consumers who have been left without representation by the trade unions. In April this year i recorded a precedent against a trade union through small claims for their failure to represent me in a work tribunal. Again the market is massive.
