With the destruction to our musical life caused by covid-19, the trustees of the Delphi Trust have decided to launch an alternative project to the forced cancellation of the 2020 annual festival. The Home to Home project marries up locked down composers and performers so that a new work can be videoed at the home of the performer or performers.
Our network of 35 living composers whose work has been performed at the annual festival is matched by several hundred performers - most of whom have lost a great deal of professional work due to the closure of venues. The Home to Home project is a pilot to see if we can make this online network into a 'market' where new work can be recorded and distributed online
No one in the charity is paid: the money raised is used exclusively to pay the musicians. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
