We did it!

Thank you so very much to all of our supporters, partners and to Crowdfunder and Santander who provided the match funding for our Worthing Honey Collective campaign.

Honeybees are one of 1,500 vital pollinator species for over 70% of food crops in the UK - without them our diets and daily meals would look very much diminished. Apart from the honeybee, other pollinators include bumblebees, solitary bees, hoverflies, wasps, flies, beetles, butterflies and moths.

With this funding we will turn Worthing into a pollinator friendly town, not only by keeping bees and educating people of all ages about good beekeeping practice and how we can support the honeybee in our greenspaces, big and small, but also by providing more food and shelter for pollinators in general.

We're absolutely over the moon, and very much look forward to getting in touch with everyone soon to arrange your rewards, set up the membership for our supporters and get ready to order and paint some beehives ready for our colonies to move in.

Once again, thank you very much for your support.

Anne, Debs and everyone at FoodPioneers x
