It's been an interesting start to our life as Landlords of The Alma in Copford. A car driving through the window on Christmas Eve and now COVID 19. Undaunted, are now running a village shop and takeaway service out of the pub to serve our wonderful community.

On Friday the 1st of May, Crowdfunder have organised an evening's entertainment at "The COVID Arms" with comedians such as Russell Howard and Jon Richardson hosting a virtual big pub quiz and various stand up sets. They are attempting a World Record for the World's Largest Virtual Pub and we want to be part of it!

The pub industry is being hit as hard as anyone in this pandemic and despite The Alma not being able to open right now, we'd like to be able to offer this entertainment to you.

Buy a ticket and join the quiz night and some money goes to the pub and some to the National Emergencies Trust.

Join The Covid Arms ‘Landlady’ Kiri Pritchard-Mclean and her host of celebrity guests; Russell Howard, Nish Kumar, Jon Richardson, Joel Dommett, Marcus Brigstocke, Rachel Parris, Lucy Beaumont, Jenny Ryan and Suzi Ruffel, for a night in at the world’s largest virtual pub.

There's two options for getting involved:

1) Buy a 'front row' seat

Join our Zoom meeting directly and have the chance to interact with the comedians and Kiri. You'll be able to play along with the quiz and win prizes too!

2) Buy a livestream link ticket

You can purchase a link to the livestream which will allow you to play along with the quiz and watch all the action unfold. There's prizes to be won and beer to be drunk, join us!
