Hey guys! First off is like to thank you for taking a look at my dream project.
I have been shaping surfboards for a year or so now, with money I have made myself. But that time has come where I need to work full time again, to have any chance of really getting by. Let alone creating something special. Surfing is my passion and shaping surf craft allows me to experiment with design and different ways to ride.
My goal is to be able to shape surfboards full time, and have local artists put their work with mine and create stunning collaborations. im lucky enough to already have a space that a friend is letting me use, but it needs a lot of work. To create a really good finish on boards the room has to be completely dust free. One room for shaping and another for glassing/finishing.
The funds would also be used to buy newer and safer tools to work with. And help me shoot a little promotional film in the summer.
