On Wednesday 21 October, 322 MPs, including Workington's Mark Jenkinson, voted against free school meals vouchers during the holidays.  Millions of people in our country are facing financial hardship and uncertainty about jobs. To deny meals to children during the holidays at a time like this is appalling - it's cruel.

The aim of this project is to raise funds and food donations to make sure that children in Workington constituency do not go without food this Christmas.  The Christmas period should be fun - it's a time to enjoy and be happy.  It is not a time to worry about when you'll next fill your belly.

Every penny of your donations will be used to buy food for families in Workington constituency .

Thank you for support - together, we will make sure no child in Workington constituency goes hungry this Christmas.
