Being homeless or in an unstable living situation can mean that some of the basic essentials like toothbrushes, tooth paste, gloves, tissues, soap, menstruation products, face wipes, etc. can be difficult to come by. Without some of these basic essentials, living on the street or in difficult situations can be even more difficult. That's where a wellness kit can help.
Open Soulz and Yrkja Ergi are working with the New Unity - a non-religious church to fundraise to build Winter Wellness Kits we can distribute to the Hackney Migrant Centre, The CARIS Cold Weather Shelter in Islington and the South London Refugee Association. With your donation, we can buy large amounts of hygiene and wellness products through InKind Direct and assemble and distribute these kits to these centres.
One kit costs roughly £6, so even a small donation can be really helpful for us. Around £150 is enough to build 25 kits, so if we can fundraise £1,000, we can build over 167 kits to distribute -- and more!
Any donation would be awesome and we'll continue to update you on our progress. All funds donated will be used to benefit rough sleepers.
