Sheffield Hospitals Charity have helped both staff and patients through a great many varied schemes, funds and forms of support including:
- The Secret Garden project providing a safe, quiet, relaxing space for patients and staff.
- Dementia Practitioners who are working to develop new initiatives to improve the hospital environment for people living with dementia and their carers- something very close to my heart.
- Continuing Professional Development - Ensuring that staff have access to the latest training, development and emotional support.
- The Support Your NHS appeal supporting staff in the most difficult 18 months we have ever faced.
So help me give something back by helping me reach (and exceed?) my £700 target by sponsoring me to do the most insane thing I have ever attempted- On September 3rd at Wickenby Aerodrome I will be strapping myself to the top of a biplane and soaring through the sky (and before you ask- no, I'm not that keen on flying...) doing aerial maneuvers to help a great charity.
P.S It has come to my attention that I am currently too heavy to wing walk so I expect an extra bit of sponsorship for the 6 weeks I will be saying no to bacon sandwiches, cake and beer.
Please donate and help me reach my target in aid of Sheffield Hospitals Charity. Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
