Often we have to purchase sea turtles from fishermen to prevent them from being slaughtered, a large donation covers these costs (buying it from the fishermen so they understand the turtles are worth a lot more alive than dead and renting a boat to release the turtle far out to sea away from danger/ recapture) and saves the sea turtle's life. You will also receive all other rewards mentioned above.
