New stretch target

Our focus is Well-being and as those needs develop and evolve we will too and spend accordingly. It is our hope that we can stick around long after we have stamped out covid-19 to build a sunnier and healthier West Kilbride.

We are a constituted unlimited organisation of volunteers working to support the local community of West Kilbride, Seamill and its bordering rural area. We are working in close collaboration with the pharmacy to deliver prescriptions to those that are self-isolating, distancing and unwell at this time. We have the full support of North Ayrshire Council and have an open communication with them regarding our needs and ideas. As initiatives are introduced by the council, food banks and ourselves we will be mediating between everyone to ensure needs are met. By having resources of our own to draw on we are able to see where we can bridge any gaps.

We are primarily concerned about:
Ensuring the immediate needs of the community are met, such as delivering food, prescriptions, connecting people to the right services and ensuring that people have access to masks for when out and about.

The physical, mental, material and social well-being of West Kilbride. Offering children's activities via the Imagination group, Neighbour Connect, addressing loneliness, All You Need recipe packs and a number of projects in the works involving social gardening and getting people connected with tech.

We don't want to be gloomy, but we are prepared for a longer recovery. We are also prepared with plenty of energy and ideas to make West Kilbride a sunnier place once the clouds have passed.

We will Your help will be greatly appreciated as we unite to meet the immediate practical and social needs of the community.

This crowdfunding page is being created in direct response to individuals who have asked how to support us financially. It seems this is the most organised way to do so. Thank you.
