We are all aware of the seriousness of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and that life will change for a considerable period of time.

However, the elderly, disabled, vulnerable, and key workers need help.

The people of Clydebank, Dumbarton & Vale of Leven have always come together to help each other when times are hard.

This Fund is to distribute money immediately to groups that need help to survive, or to help directly fund essential key workers such as cleaners, nurses, support workers to get to and from their place of employment safely.

Example:

Bus services are now heavily restricted.  Imagine being a nurse doing a 12- hour shift and not able to afford a taxi home?  This Fund will pull resources together and help that nurse.

Example:

Sheltered housing tenants can’t get out to do shopping.  This fund can pay for essentials such as tea, bread, milk, soap etc to help our elderly and have it dropped off at their door.  Those over 70 years are most at risk.  They cannot stand in long queues at supermarkets.

It is a Fund to support us, the people.

Please donate what you can no matter how small or large. Every penny will help people specifically in our area.
