The White Hart is a great village pub and has fantastic locals, regulars, brilliant pool & skittles teams & I see it as a great community hub but we need your help.
As you will be aware we have been unable to trade as normal since the first lockdown but we got our heads round it and invested & adapted where we needed to but then we got put into Tier 3 which has caused big financial problems to the pub. As you will be aware we have offered take-away meals and off sales for alcohol but with the size of our kitchen we are just not able to turn over the quantity we need to cover our monthly outgoings.
During the first lockdown we got through it with your support & generosity but then we went into the second lockdown which put us back to square one.
I really did not think we would be back in this place again having to do another crowd funding page, but Tier 3 has financially crippled us. Normally the Christmas period would keep us going through the lean months of January and February. Realistically, no Christmas trade means we simply will not get through January & February. Local pubs are closing and not reopening. I don’t want yours to be one of those pubs.
I cannot describe how much I appreciate your help but now I need your help even more. It’s been suggested to me by locals that I need to do another crowd funder - it’s taken me a long time to swallow my pride and agree to that but we’re now at that point.
That’s what this is for - so that we can pay the ongoing bills and try to make it through the vaccine and come out the other side.
I cannot say how much I have appreciated your support in the past and I hope you can support us again.
Finally although we wont be getting together over the festive period and seeing 2021 in, I would like to take the time to thank you all for this year so far and to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Take care, stay safe & hopefully we will raise a glass in 2021
love
Dan
