Space and equipment to grow our bakery business.
We did it
On 8th August 2019 we successfully raised £800 with 22 supporters in 28 days

We are raising money so that we can expand our micro bakery business. We are in desperate need of a new dough mixer and another bread oven.

We are a husband and wife team, currently working from home producing real artisan breads and patisserie.

We have built up a loyal customer base in Croydon trading from a stall on Surrey street market for the last 3 years.

We would like to move to a unit so that we can expand. By doing this we will be able to offer bread everyday to our customers, bread making classes, supply more local businesses and eventually employ help or teach someone as an apprentice.

We have  found a potential unit which will need some adaptations made and extraction put in.

We really need your help to get our expansion off the ground. We need another oven to cut baking time down and produce more bread, we need a bigger mixer to save our tired arms and we need help to pay for an extraction system to be fitted in the unit and any extra cosmetic things to pass our food safety inspection.

Unfortunately we have hunted in Croydon for years for an affordable premises but everything is out of our budget. So we are looking at a unit further afield. This doesn't mean that we won't be selling in Croydon anymore, this would mean that we could come to the market more every week but also have a retail outlet to sell from daily to attract a wider customer base.

We hope that by having this leg up we will eventually be able to bring our whole business back to Croydon one day when we have some money behind us.

Please, please help us to find our dream.

We are offering generous rewards as incentives to help us raise this much needed money.

Please see about all the rewards in the Updates section.

Thank you.
