Why we need your help.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, For us, this meant the community hub that we were opening to widen the services that we provide for the community to support their emotional and mental wellbeing has been put on hold.
The money, we had set aside for refurbishment and equipment is now being used to ensure that insurances,bills, rent etc is covered to be able to open the doors, once lockdown is over.
The pandemic has also meant that all fund raising events that we usually attend during the year have also been cancelled, so we are unable to raise fundswithin the community.

I have a fantastic team of counsellors and volunteers that are doing their best to ensure that we are still able to support the community with counselling sessions through telephone or skype and we are receiving more calls daily for access to these services.
This has also meant that raising money for the hub which will provide a space for group counselling, workshops for the community on mental health issues, as well as different short courses for people to access does not have the money to complete refurbishment and be ready to open when lockdown is finished.
Why this is needed:
This hub is essential for our community as it will be used by other local organisations that help the community with different aspects of benefitting the community. A place where everyone can access support and help, whilst also having a place that well accept them.
Where the money will go:
The Money raised will go on decorating, flooring, kitchen cupboards, tables, chairs, a computer and stationary.
