I will be taking 4 months unpaid annual leave from my position in social services, to volunteer at the orphanage taking care of severely disabled children and adults.
This fantastic organisation provides vital care and support to its residents, who would certainly not survive without it. However, the orphange is totally relient on donations from the public and receive zero funding from the Goverment, they also rely on Volunteers, so here 's where I come in.
Its always been one of my life long dream's to offer my services as a volunteer, to help the less fortunate in countries with little or no resources, but for various reasons I have been unable to undertake this until now.
So here's where you come in.......I want to raise £500 for the orphange as thier work is truly remarkable, but they need our help. So please can I ask you to pledge whatever you can, the price of a coffee or more it is totally up to you, I will be grateful and appriciate even if it's just a £1.
The rest of the money pledged will be added towards my savings to enable me to go.
