The Veterans Respite Centre Charity was formed in 2018 by a group of veterans that have been thou treatment for ptsd we believe this is key to helping a veteran make that first step asking for help and not feeling alone as trust is a massive issue, we want to be able to provide a safe place so that veterans can relax and recharge among other veterans as we know that this is a good part of recovery we are trying to raise money to buy an old treatment centre that was used before to help veterans with ptsd if we can raise enough funds to buy this building we could make it into a one of a kind centre for veterans.
multiple organizations being based in one building instead of being all over the country, This would make it easer for veterans to gain the help there need to try and rebuild there life's after service, we think that this would cut down the suicide rate among the veterans community, As a whole we all could make a massive difference to veterans life's for the cost of a pint of milk.
This centre would be able to give family's a life line for themselves and those loves ones that suffer with PTSD.
