The Bureau for the Validation of Art addresses the question of who validates art and what impact does it have when given or withheld?

VALIDATION HAS COMMENCED

The Officials are pleased to announce that Validations of Art have commenced successfully. With the invaluable support of our sponsors we have been able to visit many artowkrs and three Validation Dockets have been issued thus far.

Questions for artists include: Are you a man? What were you thinking? Do  you live in a garrett? and other pertinent questions to the assessment of work.

The audiences have been very helpful and made a valuable contribution to the process.

We look forward to performing more Validations over the coming Festival Weekend.

We appreacitre all support including the sharing of information about the Validation as we want to ensure as many works can be assessed so there is greater clarity for artists and audiences about what constitutes Art and whether an item can be experienced as Art or not.

Kind regards

THE OFFICIALS
