New stretch target

There's less than a week left! One final push... !! :)

Thanks so much to all of you who have supported us this far. With your help, we were able to meet our first stretch target - we truly appreciate you guys! We are finally trying to reach £1500 to further invest in better quality sound equipment that will last. So we are not done yet - please keep sharing and spreading our project with your crowds!

A HUGE thank you once again from our entire team to all those who have already pledged. We are so close to reaching our first stretch target, and tomorrow marks the halfway mark! Thank you also to all those who supported Chosen at our event 'Beautiful Exchange' on Friday. It was definitely a night to remember; filled with amazing praise and worship, ministrations, a celebration of Chosen's past few years, and welcoming the next Chosen Committee. All of the photos from the event can be seen on our Facebook Page @ChosenSoc! Some rewards have been updated so please keep liking and sharing our project!

Project aim

We are seeking funding for sound equipment such as speakers, microphones, stands and amps, for use during our fellowship meetings and events.

About the project

We are the University of Surrey's Chosen Christian Fellowship Society. Chosen is a student-run non-denominational Christian society. We want to share the love that God has for this world, and work to maintain a warm and friendly environment for all students here at the University of Surrey.

We have fellowships every Wednesday and Friday evenings, and also run Arts and Outreach events. The purpose? To provide a non-judgemental and non-confrontational platform where students are free to worship and enjoy God - and also where non-Christians can come to gain insight into the faith.

Our members are encouraged to get involved in all our events, and this has helped them build their confidence and strong relationships with other members. The best way to describe Chosen would be a loving and supportive family, here to help through the struggles that University may bring.

Our fellowship has grown from strength to strength, and this year we have already presented debates such as 'What if God is Real?', hosted conferences, and presented two Arts nights.

We are constantly needing to use bigger venues. Currently we borrow sound equipment for our fellowship meetings and events, but this service is not always available. Without sound equipment, voices easily get lost in the room.

We need your help to let everyone HEAR OUR VOICES!

Purchasing sound equipment such as microphones, stands, speakers and amps will allow voices to be projected, and leave no message unheard. They will allow us to continue to provide this unique platform at the University, to host even better events and reach out to even more people.

Thank you for taking the time to view our project. We hope you will be able to help our voices be heard!
