The #Unseat campaign has the Tories on the run. Thanks partly to our campaigning in the local elections, Trafford Tory council was unseated, Labour won the popular vote in Wandsworth and got the best result for 22 years, Labour won 4 seats in Portsmouth, and Labour nearly matched the Tory vote in Westminster.
According to leaked messages, Iain Duncan Smith - who hammered disabled people and low-paid workers - is on the run because of #Unseat.
Now we're coming to Blackpool North and Cleveley. At the last election Labour slashed the Tory majority from 3,340 to 2,023. That was down to Jeremy Corbyn's inspiring alternative - but it was also down to people like you campaigning.
Blackpool North's Tory MP Paul Maynard has voted for austerity, the bedroom tax, trebling tuition fees, slashing support for low-paid workers and disabled people - and opposed equal marriage. If we campaign, we can replace him with a Labour MP, our local candidate Chris Webb, who represents the majority - and get a Labour government led by Jeremy Corbyn.
