Unfortunately this project was not successful.

The aim is to celebrate those in the West London who have made a significant community impact, but who haven’t be recognised before.

Hi Everyone!

On behalf of everyone at Anne Shine Supporters and the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association I would like to welcome you to our crowdfunder!

On the 24th of August we will be hosting our first ever Unity in Diversity Awards Night at Silverdine banqueting hall Hounslow!

Our vision is for this to be one of the most rewarding, community focused and fantastic events of the year in West London!

The name of our event is Unity in Diversity Awards Night, which will be a one night event recognising the unprecedented contributions of groups and individuals of West London to life in their local communities. Awards would be given to celebrate the efforts and achievements made by exceptional individuals, often in the face of considerable strife, as well as celebrating the artistic and cultural successes of our communities. We intend to award West London's leaders and high-achievers, promote understanding and cohesion between diverse populations, and encourage future generations to strive.

The event would be black tie and would feature welcome drinks, a 3 course meal and live entertainment. The night will feature a red carpet entrance, the awards ceremony, as well as cultural performances, and a  auction.

The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association was founded in 2001 with the goal of furthering the integration of refugees into British society. It helps to strengthen refugee communities and seeks to take action, focusing upon the root of social problems to tackle them at the earliest stage. It offers free English classes and legal advice to refugees.  Anne Shine Supporters is an organisation that promotes the art and culture of diverse ethnic groups in the UK. It works in close collaboration with community leaders and various organisations that deal with arts, culture and skills acquisition programmes. Believing in training individuals who have severely encountered hardship to acquire soft skills to make our society a happy place to live in.
