Une Vie en Rose goes to Festivals

Adrien Mastrosimone's show 'Une Vie en Rose' has been picked up by Buxton Festival. Help him raise £5000 to put the show on the road.

We did it!

On 11th Jul 2018 we successfully raised £1,815 with 12 supporters in 56 days

'Une Vie en Rose' has been picked up by Buxton Fringe Festivals for this summer. The show is about the Life and Songs of Edith Piaf. I have written the show and have been performing it at the Toulouse Lautrec in London.

The show is performed with 3 musicians (piano, bass and drums) and myself. It tells the story of Madame Piaf and how I grew up with her music and how she has inspired my life. I perform the songs in my countertenor voice and the musicians bring a jazz feel to the songs which creates a very unique sound.

Check out the video trailer that Christopher Hanvey has made of the show. The artwork of the poster was made by Vinícius Gaio. I am so immensely grateful for their help and support and for believing in this project.

The show has been selling very well every time we have performed it in London but the next step is to get it seen by a wider audience in the UK.

Buxton Fringe Festival has picked up the show. We have been offered a run of 5 days. This is a really fantastic opportunity that we must take to grow this project.

Unfortunately it all adds up and costs money. This is where we need help. I must be able to pay 3 musicians and get them to travel with their instruments, find places to sleep and also have enough money to eat. The show is ready to go but we need a push to be able to go to Buxton to show off the hard work we have put into 'Une Vie en Rose'.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!

To be able to go to Buxton, we need £5000. This money goes towards accommodation, travels, paying musicians a very basic wage and a deposit for the theatre. In Buxton we will be there for 5 days.

Going on tour is very expensive and so far I have been doing everything myself. I have been investing, producing, writing, organising, designing and performing. I am getting to a point where I need help to go further or we are hitting a wall.

To be able to  go to Buxton Festival, I need to raise around £5000. It sounds like a lot of money but the musicians will only get a salary of £400 for the week which is rather small compared with the amount of work we have to put into this show.

If we raise £5000 we can go to Buxton and that is really fantastic.

If you are interested in making a donation and would like a particular reward, please get in touch. I am happy to discuss any possibilities. I can perform for events you might like to have with just a piano or with a full band. That's what we do best so please don't hesitate to ask. You also have some tickets to our upcoming shows in London.

Any help will be helpful and greatly appreciated. This is huge and it is a dream finally coming true. I hope money will not get in the way of all the hard work we have put into this.

Thank you for your time and for reading.

Love and Light
