From 2015, We Are Uncollective have existed as a network of artists across the South West (UK), collaborating and facilitating to make positive change! We've always been a non-profit enterprise, supporting artists and communities and raising funds where we can. This has included: artist management, workshops, creative events and youth programmes. In 2017 we delivered a week-long series of workshops for young people in collaboration with Tate St Ives. From 2016 we have fully funded young people's involvement in Langaland Festival (as performers, technicians and assistants). We've organised TWO Oxjam events and worked with Bristol Food Connections to produce our own immersive theatre piece with local young actors. We've provided FREE management, consultation and support to many young artists across various mediums including film, music and fine art.
Now the time has come for us to better ourselves so we can provide more services for the people we support! Our aim is to establish ourselves as 'Uncollective Productions', rebranding and relaunching our website to enable more professional contracts for 2019 - the more commissions we get as producers, event managers, curators then the more we're able to volunteer our time and skills for free to the people who need it!
Our current website is lacking the pizazz we need (https://weareuncollective.weebly.com/), but we're excited to work with a brilliant team of web designers and visual gurus to develop a rebrand for early 2019. We're lucky enough for people to volunteer their time and offer discount services, but the total cost of our rebrand will still be around £250! Any excess funds raised will go directly towards our non-profit projects, supporting community projects and emerging artists.
