£15 or more

Buy a small sapling

With £15 we can buy a smaller sapling ( between 15-60cm tall). We will focus on species which are great for supporting wildlife such as Hawthorn, Rowan, and Blackthorn. You will be able to come down on the big planting day and plant this in Stanlake meadow. Even a small sapling can grow to be a mighty tree, it 'll just need a few more years to mature!

£50 or more

Buy an Oak tree

For £50 we can buy a 4ft young native sapling , which is more likely to survive it's first winter. Although Oaks are slow growing they offer a huge benefit to local wildlife. Just one oak can support more than 1,000 other species! English Oak is native to the area so by buying an Oak tree you would be planting for future generations to enjoy. You will get the opportunity to come down to the new woodland site and plant it yourself !

Buy Field Maple tree

For £50 we can buy a 6ft young native sapling , which is more likely to survive it's first winter. £50 or more

Buy a Silver Birch

For £50 we can buy a 6ft young native birch tree. Birches provide striking winter colour in the woodland. Its fine branches and leaves allow sunlight to reach through the canopy down to the forest floor where other smaller species are then able to grow. You will get the opportunity to come down to the new woodland site and plant it yourself on our big planting day in November.

£50 or more

Buy a Hornbeam tree

For £50 we can buy a 6ft young native sapling , which is more likely to survive it's first winter. Hornbeam has small shiny leaves which turn yellow in the autumn. Its dense foliage makes the perfect nestling ground for small birds and would be a great asset to our woodland. You will get the opportunity to come down to the new woodland site and plant it yourself !
