A long love for corndogs and a lack of availability of them in the UK made me decide to turn my passion into my work. Having over 20 years working as a chef, from high end Michelin star to executive chef to R&D for a big national company (and many other places and experiences in between) I am applying my skills and knowledge to corndogs and American sides. Using world flavours and the best ingredients to create gourmet corndogs, a slice of an American state fair with flare.
Running super clubs with my twist on American comfort food under the name two doors down for the last couple of years. When Covid hit and lockdown happened it is clear that this was not going to be happening anytime soon. So I pivoted and became two dogs down. Inspired by the love of my life, my recently passed Parson Russell terrier Dolly and supported by my partner.
I sell our tasty food in South London from Catford and have a range of sauces available too.
In the future as I expand I plan to become an inclusive employer and 100% sustainable.
In the meantime, with no customers visiting, I am trying to reach this point. I will be creating a range of merchandise which you can pre-order with your crowdfund pledge to be shipped to you once we reach our target. T- shirts, hoodies, hats and pins.
