Turn Local Plastic Waste into 3D Printer Filament
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

To fund a machine for making 3D printer filament out of plastic waste such as bottles, bags and much more. This saves the environment.

by George Hinton in Watlington, England, United Kingdom

I am raising money to benefit the local Community and I. My idea is  to turn regular plastic waste into 3D printer filament that can be used to make objects or even rewards for the people. This would not just benefit me, my friends and my local school but would also encourage people to not throw their plastic waste into landfill leading to a healthier planet. The funds will be used for buying the machine. If this is done I will fund the rest of the local set up if needed. It would be great to have the funds as soon as possible as every day I see people showing there plastic waste in the landfill bin causing environmental issues. I believe the support will really benefit the community and will also get the youth into a healthier mind when it comes to recycling. I would be most grateful if you could even just put a few pennies into the fund to get me there.
