Support BAP Theatre in nurturing and unearthing the next generation of actors/actresses from BME communities

by RichardReid in London Borough of Haringey

Black Arts Production Theatre Ltd is calling out to its valued partners and supporters, to make any financial contribution to enable BAP to continue running it’s Junior Drama Class for young people aged 8-16 yrs at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, next term 2016 we would like to produce an educational theatre production called ‘REAL’ which will consist of five short 20 minute plays. This bespoke production will promote awareness of keeping young people safe, children surviving without parents, young people tempted into a life of crime and education in British schools. We aim to highlight these key issues within our themes, which affect disadvantaged young people lives.

The aim of this production is to help empower our young actors and audiences alike and make a positive difference in their lives through our educative, theatrical and powerful, thought provoking show. With your pledges, BAP Theatre can achieve this; enabling our theatre company to evolve, contributing towards community cohesion while encouraging aspiring young actors/actresses to act out positive stories in front of diverse audience.

We would like with your help to raise £10,000 all monies will be put towards hiring of the theatre, pay for the rehearsal studio, marketing and staff cost to make this production a reality.

BAP aims to develop the BME communities in theirs careers as actors, writers and directors. Please help if you can.
