My name is Naomi Forrest and I race for GB in the Age-Group category in Triathlon (person in the white and orange shorts in the picture). I never thought that I would get into a sport so passionately. Even though I have been a sporty person for as long as I can remember, not one sport stuck. It wasn't until 4 years when I watched a triathlon on TV and thought it would be a great challenge. From the first race, I have been hooked in the sport. The atmosphere, the people you meet and the places you get to visit. The triathlon community it truly inspirational. Over the years, I have gotten stronger and stronger in the sport and decided to give it a go at representing GB. At the time I thought it would be a long shot, but I didn't give up and got selected for the European Championships in Lisbon 2016, then again for the World Championships in Rotterdam 2017. I have now been selected to represent GB again at the World Championships in Australia this September.
This is where I need your help. To have your support in helping this huge journey across the world. Whilst Lisbon and Rotterdam were able to be paid on my own, going all the way to Australia is a big expense, from flights, accommodation, bike travel and all the equipment needed. Anything that anyone could donate would be a huge help!
I will be toeing the line with the best girls in the world and I will be fighting for that podium position. Any help that I get will be so appreciated and will never be forgotten.
