Hello potential allotmenteers
We at Tregarth Community Allotments, or TCA, are very proud of our allotments at the Moelyci farm freehold. As one of the first projects on the farm back in 2003 we have since become the largest allotment group in Gwynedd, with over 60 allotments on 4.7 acres and our own water capture from the local stream.
Even with the support of our ever growing community our future is at stake, the land we use is currently up for sale and we need your help to allow us to buy a long term lease and ensure we can continue to grow fresh, local food and keep our community alive.
Having been her for 15 years we've been able to nourish a sense of community and establish a growing space which follows organic principles. We've also been active as a volunteer force helping out with one off projects involving the other activities on the farm.
We are members of the National Allotment Society and the federation of of Community Farms and City Gardens. We not only grow to organic principles but teach all our plot holders about ecological sustainability and have extended that to many of the visitors to our plots. But we're not solely focused on growing, our members are also interested in the wildlife that's attracted by what we grow.
We are proud to say the TCA growers have been consistently proving skeptics wrong and successfully growing all kinds of fruits and vegetables on the rocky hillside! The range of experience within our group means that there is never a question unanswered.

We're looking for pledges from you to secure a long term lease on our land at the freehold of Moelyci farm and to continue to develop our allotments and the services we can provide to our community through teaching courses and more allotments!
Every penny you give will ensure that our thriving community continues to grow!
All money pledged will be used to secure a long term lease for our permanent home.
If our target is not met but we can still secure a lease then all pledges will be used for this purpose.
Ideally we would like our permanent home to be at Ffarm Moelyci but if this isn’t possible then all funds raised will be used to provide us with a secure long term home close by.
If our target is exceeded and we get to stay on Ffarm Moelyci then any surplus funds will go toward buying further extensions to our lease.
