We went to court to try and stop the forced adoption of our grandchildren. We were made a party to proceedings and realised at the last minute that we should have a solicitor and barrister to help us in court.
We failed to gain SGO (Special Guardianship Order) for our 2 year old grandchild, but still had to pay out the £3000 for the solicitor and barrister, plus we paid out £1,700 for an inpedendant social worker.
The Judgement was given after 4 days, and it was negative against us having our grandchild to look after, and that Hampshire County Council can proceed in getting him adopted.
We are £4,700 out of pocket and devasted. We set up a previous crowdfunding, but due to a clerical error the project was refunded back to the 4 kind people that contributed. So we are going to try again.
Hopefully people will ask me what happening, and we will get more support.
