Two friends used to crave for Indian food in London but didn’t want to eat in Indian restaurants daily as they were very expensive. The two friends were looking for Indian food at reasonable prices but didn’t find any which could suit with their lifestyle, couldn't afford restaurant prices and and most importantly were missing home cooked food.
In 2008, one of the two friends decided to help others by starting a tiffin service in London. Slowly and gradually, the tiffin service grew from initial 5 customers to over 50 in a day and is growing faster day by day.
The business has been developed through a fundamental passion for building the brand and delivering a range of products and services which offers something new and different to what is out there right now.
We don’t have huge overheads like any other companies as we produce the food and save costs through bulk purchases which makes it even more affordable. In these testing times, we started delivering free meals to any one that was isolating or anyone that could not afford a meal however we had to stop trading as the Director contracted the virus and took over a month to recover.
Voted the best 13 lunch delivery in London in 2016 by The Evening Standard, featured in the Londonist for a London Gourmet food delivery, covered by The Quint and by YouTube channel Travels in India, London & the UK, nominated for Goodfood award in 2015 and was constantly approached by BBC to feature our service, we have been awarded for her consistent quality, service and innovation.
Taking forward our plan of delivering free food or to any customer that wishes to order quality Indian food at rock bottom prices, the aim was to restart our deliveries to anyone that requires Indian food across London.
We have one kitchen, two vehicles and can cover London areas from Heathrow upto Ilford covering west, north, east (upto Ilford) and south (upto Clapham) London.
We were hoping for contributions with an aim to support a business that has been operating from over 12 years and has been relied upon from a lot of people.
