After 3 nights in Liverpool unity theatre debuting the silence between us, we believe this message needs to be shown to a wider audience. As many as 1 in 4 people have a mental health condition and although there is much more awareness in regards help compared to the 1940s it is still seen as a taboo subject. This show in its debut received 4 our of 5 star ratings and a 8.5 out of 10 furthermore it was awarded. 5 stars by the audiences who watched the show believing it was a thought provoking piece of work that made you laugh and cry.
The show itself is set in 1940 a year in to the Second World War and it follows Mary and Arthur Johnson as they tell the story of how the war affected them personally both physically and mentally.
