We are Worcestershire's only independent LGBT+ community venue staffed by a small number of community members. For over 10 years we have not just poured pints, we have supported our community in many different ways whilst also ensuring a safe haven for all.
Without being able to secure our future, our local community which consists of customers from not just Worcester, but surrounding towns and cities, the nearest venue south of Worcester is Bristol and nearest north is Birmingham.
Since COVID-19 lockdown, we have ensured that our furloughed team have received 100% pay including still having to pay current and all future bills. We have lost various amounts of money from our cellar stock etc which we are unable to claim from our insurers.
We hope that you feel the same way we do, that our future survival is critical to our local LGBT+ community.
With your help and support we can continue to pay our bills throughout this crisis so that we can re-open when the lockdown restrictions are lifted for the hospitality industry. With your assistance, we can also ensure we put measures in place to not just protect our team but our community too when we re-open. Since lockdown, we have received £0 in sales revenue so any support that you can offer will ensure systems are put in place for everyone’s safety.
We would like to thank you in advance for your continued support and cannot wait to welcome you back into your community venue.
