the Bereavement club

We are an up and coming media company based in Norwich producing a web series about grief, working with EastEnders writer Lilie Ferrari.

We did it!

On 22nd Feb 2018 we successfully raised £1,035 with 44 supporters in 28 days

Established in September 2017 Cactus Media has already produced a TV gardening show pilot and short documentaries.  Our latest challenge is to produce a 5x5minute drama series examining how grief affects people.

'the Bereavement club' is a psychological drama series exploring the different ways those who have experienced bereavement come to terms with their loss through meeting other people and talking.  The 5 episodes of 5 minutes each will focus on a different character each episode as they open up and share their feelings through both laughter and tears. We go into production March 18 and each episode will screen nightly on YouTube.

Cactus Media is a young and upcoming production company which is seeking to raise £2,500. This will fund our costs and outgoing expenses, which include professional actors, production equipment, locations, art department and costume. We are working with Lilie Ferrari, an experienced script editor who has worked on major programmes including; EastEnders, Casualty and Holby City, with support from Eye Film, a company which has over 40 years’ experience in film production.
